One would think with all of the rain we have had, plus a hurricane or two, that our windows would be clean and clear. But that is not the case.
The rain water comes in from all different angles and it brings dirt and dust with it. So, here in Florida, our windows are now dirtier after all our rain than they were before. If you have a home close to the Ocean then your windows are not only dirty, they are most likely covered with salt spray from the ocean as well. If you don’t clean your windows soon, they will get coated with all of that salt spray gunk and it will be even more challenging to make them clean and shiny. Over time that salty film only gets more difficult to clean as it builds up on your windows.
Riverside Cleaning Services cleans windows. In fact this week we cleaned the windows on several homes, one of which had over 100 windows!!
If you are determined to clean them yours own windows I can share our secret recipe with you.
- A bucket of warm water
- A squeegee
- Dish Soap
- Strong Arms
- Step ladder
We don’t use glass cleaner. Dish soap works better and it doesn’t streak. If you are trying to get your home ready for the Holidays, keep in mind that trying to just clean the insides of your windows will not get them looking sparkley. You have to clean the outsides too.
It’s a shame to have your house all nicely decorated for th Holidays, and have those dirty old windows showing.
