I am a busy person. I am a Mom, a Grandma, a business owner and I am the Vice President of my BNI group. There doesn’t seem to be a moment from 5:30 am until 6:00 pm when I am not doing something. Add to that the fact that I am now a runner, so somewhere in each busy day it is imperative for my health that I take the time to work out or run.
Sometimes, even though my company cleans homes and construction sites for other people, my own house gets a little disorganized. When I get a few minutes of down time, I will briefly dream about how nice it would be to stay organized and de cluttered all of the time. That would be so nice. However, with my schedule, getting the energy and the time in the same day is tough.
I found some designs on Pinterest and Houzz where you can spend you entire life looking at amazing photos if you’re not careful. Some of the kitchens in the homes on these sites are SO big and BEAUTIFUL, and expensive that it’s hard to even relate, but every so often I find ideas about kitchens which more closely resemble my sweet home. After looking over some of the ideas, I went to Amazon.com, and found some organizers for cabinets that could make finding, storing and retrieving canned good much easier. And they save space, and you can see what you have so you don’t keep buying the same things over and over because they get shoved to the back of your cabinet or pantry.
They also have racks to keep pots and pans, and their lids all neatly lined up in one place. It is so annoying to have to pull out an entire stack of pots and pans just to get to one, isn’t it? I am thinking it’s not too late for a New Year’s resolution to get my kitchen organized.
